Social Innovation : Homelessness

June 17, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Most unfortunately this event has to be Canceled. We are very sorry and hope to be able to reschedule soon a similar panel.

If you are interested in knowing more about the Entourage Network that will, in its time, export to the US, please come (click to sign in and more info) on Tuesday June 18th to meet the very successful Founder Jean-Marc Potdevin who will be presenting the NGO/ App at the French Consulate Residence during a fundraising Cocktail from 6pm to 8pm.

For this event, our panel of speakers will share their experiences with social innovation. More specifically, they will be focusing on how technology can be used in order to aid the homeless.

The panel will allow our guests to have a better idea of the actual situation for homeless people in Massachusetts: the average age of people who find themselves on the streets, how long they stay without a home,  what support or resources currently exist for them, and more.

We will introduce an innovative solution currently existing in France – a mobile app that helps  homeless  people by connecting them to a network of everyday individuals and NGO seeking to effect change in their communities.

  • Brittany Butler, Moderator for this event, Executive Director of Social Innovation and Changes initiatives at HKS
