Partner's webinar - Genoskin's Scientific Series: The NLRP1 Inflammasome: Protecting the borders

United States

Join our member Genoskin for an in-depth presentation on the NLRP1 Inflammasome’s Role in Epithelial Immunity, by Dr. Etienne Meunier.

Join Genoskinleader in standardized and ready-to-use human skin biopsies for ex vivo clinical testing, to explore how the NLRP1 inflammasome acts as a critical immune sensor in epithelial tissues, safeguarding the body against environmental and infectious threats.

Dr. Etienne Meunier will present his team’s latest findings on the ribotoxic stress response and its role in activating the NLRP1 inflammasome. His cutting-edge research uncovers the molecular mechanisms that protect epithelial barriers, shedding light on human-specific immune defense systems.

Speakers

🎤 Speaker: Dr. Etienne Meunier brings a wealth of expertise in innate immunity and inflammasome biology. With a PhD from Toulouse, France, and a postdoctoral tenure in Basel, Switzerland, he has made groundbreaking discoveries on host cytosolic anti-bacterial immunity and inflammasome activation mechanisms. Now leading his own laboratory at the IPBS institute, Dr. Meunier’s work focuses on understanding human-specific regulators of immune responses.

Recognized with prestigious awards such as the CNRS Bronze Medal, Dr. Meunier is at the forefront of exploring how human epithelial inflammasomes contribute to health and disease.
