FABS – Testimonials

« We joined FACCNE two months ago and we immediately benefited from their network. Ludivine arranged personal introductions for us, including to the FABS, FACCNE’s  life sciences group.  The FABS members work in the local pharma and biotech industry. They introduced us to people in our target industries  (pharma, biotech, university). Being a member of FACCNE  has helped us extend our network efficiently and right away. »

2020 NEXT French Healthcare

« Business France called upon FABS Teams within the 2020 NEXT French Healthcare, a program to accelerate the development of French digital health startup in North America. We can’t recommend highly enough the FABS teams. Their wide range of expertise within the life sciences industry is a precious support for any French entrepreneurs looking to expand to the US or set up in MA. The FABS members are all volunteers and have dedicated valuable amount of time to advise the startups leaders and to give valuable feedbacks on their strategy. The participants were able to learn more about the US business environment, and were really pleased to be welcomed by a solid and caring Life Sciences French-American community. Delighted with this experience, Business France is looking forward to further collaborating with the FABS »

” The FABS has done a tremendous job in supporting the startups that won the NETVA program in 2019. All of the volunteers show great professionalism and provide valuable and wise advice to French entrepreneurs wishing to collaborate with American organizations. They enabled NETVA winners to precisely adapt their speech to each interlocutor profile, mentored them individually while guiding them in their search for partners, and gave them the legal advice necessary for a future establishment in the United States. The involvement of FABS volunteers is remarkable.”

BIO Boston – June 2018

“FABS is a fantastic organization that has helped us tremendously in reaching the American Biotech/Medtech/Pharma market. FABS members brought us their experience, expertise and knowledge of the market. Open-mindness, advice, networking, without FABS the installation of the 4Clinics office in Cambridge may never have taken place. Once the office was installed the FABS was an extraordinary catalyst. I warmly congratulate and recommend the FABS team. I thank them warmly on behalf of the entire 4Clinics team.”

Mission Biopharm – November 2015

“I had the opportunity to realize an international trip to Boston and New Brunswick in November 2015 with UBI France. This trip was organized around Nutrition and Health Issues and was the opportunity to meet both Companies and New England Universities working on this issue. We had the chance to meet the FABS. Very relevant advice was given by the FABS Team, that also helped us meeting relevant persons while in Boston. I am still in contact with the FABS Team and I was given fruitful information. As an example, thanks to their help, I had the opportunity to get in touch with the Study Portals which was not known in Bordeaux. This year the University decided to communicate on all its International Master offers via the Study Portals. I should be able to make a communication on the specific program I manage in Bordeaux on Nutrition and Health issues using this tool in the months to come. Through this punctual action both Bordeaux University and I benefit from this collaboration with the Boston FABS Team. I am pleased here to testify on this help.”

The Young Enterprise Initiative (YEI) – December 2014

“We recently had a chance to work with the FABS group, with particular support from Sandrine Hulot and Laure Berliner. Our company, PathMaker Neurosystems, had recently been named a 2014 YEI Laureate, and we had to make rapid preparations to make the most of a government sponsored trip to France. The FABS group fully understood the value of our technology and innovation due to their scientific and commercial backgrounds, and they completely understood what we were trying to accomplish. They were able to identify several prominent French academic researchers and institutions to meet with during the trip. Beyond identifying them, they were able to facilitate high level introductions, and their referrals were invaluable and highly effective. They were very strategic in finding the right academic institutions that could be potential collaborators. With their help, we were able to rapidly filter down all the potential opportunities to a handful of high value meetings. We would not have been able to do this without their excellent help, and I commend their work in facilitating and supporting the efforts of early-stage companies to access the life science clusters both in France and the United States”
